Atycare Initiative is focused on access to quality education, advocacy, community interventions, entrepreneurship development, and women and youth engagement. As a passion-driven organization, we work with hundreds of volunteers in hard-to-reach communities and remote villages to make sure the sustainable solution to provide the educational needs of the children and young people are met adequately. We collaborate with community schools to advance quality education and work in partnership with the government to advance public schools if they exist in these communities.
Children from vulnerable and low-income families are adopted as beneficiaries of the Atycare Initiative and placed on scholarships in our adopted schools. Our beneficiaries are enrolled in schools, continuously followed up, and provided with all educational supply materials throughout the school years. Individuals and corporate organizations work with us to sponsor our children for certain years in their education.
This program includes a periodical visit to various communities where our beneficiaries live. We carry out advocacy, training, and offer support services in skill acquisition, distribution, personal development, education, gender-related issues, and other relief materials.
Our program involves providing experienced teachers support to our adopted school through training and upgraded learning techniques. Individuals and corporate organizations can partner with us to improve, sponsor and advance our teacher program through various schools.
We address several psycho-social issues with the aid of our counseling, medical and legal teams. We also roll out a mentorship circle to address this. Every month a series of projects are organized to intervene in communities where such support is needed.
The virtual learning program targets learners in Junior Secondary School to Senior Secondary School (JSS1-SS3) and it aims to runs through digital tablets. Each learner receives a customized tablet preloaded with learning content and learning is coordinated and monitored by facilitators, our team and trained teachers.
